Amaterasuite
 
Amaterasuite (アマテラス石 / Amaterasu stone) is a new mineral found in Jade and was thus named after Amaterasu Omikami, one of the most important goddesses in Japanese mythology. The new mineral was found in the Osayama mountain area, Osa-osakabe, Niimi City, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. Amaterasuite appears as bundles consisting of needle- to plate-shaped crystals as large as 150 μm around rutile.
The idea of using the smell of “jade” had always been in my archive of ideas. But I could not find captivating story and ancient histories. At last, Amaterasu revealed herself within jade. It was time to create.
Amaterasu is one of the supreme gods of Japanese mythology, the goddesses of the Sun. (the central goddess) I incorporated an Emeraude accord inspired by Coty (vanillic and coumarin lavender oriental), and spicy aldehydic top, and vanillic oriental base. Bright florals of orange blossom sparks from inside of Jade.
